Both surgical skills lab and live animal surgery of the workshop are conducted at ASSC.

ASSC has experienced personnel who are always available at all time to ensure best running of the centre.

This is a facility for the animal based training of health care professionals in surgical, anaethetic and medical skills. ASSC is designed to handle domestic animals under experimental procedures and surgery. It has a large wet-lab hall which can accommodates a total of 7-8 sterile surgery simultaneously.

The workshop usually uses 7 anaesthetised pigs.

All procedures and surgeries performed as part of this workshop fulfill and have full approval from Animal Experimental Ethics Committee.
